Digital First – Supporting the next generation of public services – a Digitech event

Wednesday 21st June 2023

Digital First – Supporting the next generation of public services is the focus for this year’s Digitech, the official Crown Commercial Service free to attend* technology conference.

Taking place at Manchester Central. the 2023 conference will once again bring together technology and technology procurement professionals from across government and the wider public sector and will: showcase best practice; help in the exchange of ideas; and promote discussion and debate on the opportunities and challenges for the technology and procurement professional.

The opening plenary session features speakers from Crown Commercial Service, Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and Central Digital & Data Office, ending with Q&A with the delegate audience.

Following the plenary the day will continue with a series of informative 20 minute work sessions, each of which will provide an opportunity to dig into different areas and themes, exploring how delegates and their organisations can respond to the challenges and opportunities provided by digital transformation. These sessions will be led by a mix of public and private sector presenters and will, as always, encourage debate and discussion.

The exhibition will give public sector delegates the opportunity to engage with experienced solution providers from public and private sectors, while networking and reconnecting with public sector peers. With the squeeze on public sector budgets delegates will be delighted to know that tea, coffee and a light lunch will be provided free of charge and the day ends with a free drinks reception too, we hope you can stay.

We look forward to welcoming friends old and new.

*Please note free of charge attendance is only for those who are directly employed by a public sector organisation, see the delegate rates page for full details
